The photo frames are 29 mm deep. The museum glass largely reduces reflections, but the visible reflections have a slight green tint.

Options

Photo Paper (Colour Images)

The prints in photo frames have the option of a glossy photo paper, or a matt fine art paper.

Photo Paper

A light-sensitive photo paper, with a glossy surface, that is precisely developed. The option with the sharpest details, the strongest colours and the strongest contrast, but the reflections from the glossy surface can be distracting in some environments.

Fine Art Paper

A print on a smooth fine art paper. Sharp details, good colours and contrasts, with a matt surface that looks good in almost all situations.

Textured Fine Art Paper

A print on textured fine art paper. Sharp details, good colours and contrasts, with a matt surface that looks good in almost all situations. The structured texture gives the image an artistic effect.

Frame Thickness

The frames are either 20 mm or 40 mm wide.

20 mm frames are best suited for smaller pictures, while 40 mm frames are suitable for almost all available sizes.

Passe-parout Width

The passe-partouts are available in 3 different widths.

12 cm

It is recommended to consider the size of the picture and the width of the frame when choosing the width. A passe-partout that is twice the width of the frame will look good for most prints, but there are many other options that can also work well.

Passe-partout Colour

Passepartouts are available in bright white or natural white.

The difference between the colours is not very big, bright white is a pure white colour, while natural white is a slightly creamy colour.
If you are not sure which colour to choose, bright white is probably the safer option, even if the differences are minimal.

Photo Paper (Black & White Images)

For black and white images, there are 4 options for photo paper.
2 types of light-sensitive photo print and 2 types of fine art paper.

Matt Photo Paper

A light-sensitive matt photo paper, precisely developed, with very sharp details and high contrast. The matt surface does not take away all reflections, but it scatters them well and makes them less distracting.

Glossy Photo Paper

A light-sensitive glossy photo paper, precisely developed, with very sharp details and high contrast. The glossy surface offers the best possible contrast, but can produce distracting reflections.

Fine Art Paper

A print on a smooth fine art paper. Good detail and contrast with a matt surface that produces almost no reflections and looks good in almost any environment.

Textured Fine Art Paper

A print on a textured fine art paper. Good detail and contrast with a matt surface that produces almost no reflections and looks good in almost any environment. The structured texture gives the images an additional artistic effect.

Mounting Brackets

The photo frames are delivered with 1 or 2 hanging brackets on the back for quick and easy hanging.
For frames with 2 brackets, 2 screws or nails are required in the wall at the same height and at the correct distance apart.
