Photography
Top images are the first prerequisite for top prints. The images on Gams Media are a product of attention to detail at every level. From using high-end camera equipment to visiting locations multiple times to get images in the best conditions.
Every effort was made to be in the right place at the right time, with the right equipment, to get images of the most stunning vistas with the most impressive light and weather conditions. This is no small feat, as many locations require several hours to reach while carrying equipment up hundreds or thousands of metres in altitude. Despite extensive planning to maximise the chances of everything coming together, most attempts don’t result in the stunning images that Gams Media’s standards demand.
This challenge is made even greater by the variety of images on offer from the entire region.
Website
First-class products require a first-class website. Gams Media’s website was developed specifically for Gams Media, with special attention paid to every step. The website has been designed to be easy to use and navigate, with images, related images and print information all easy to find. At the same time, the website is fast and responsive, with all the product information you need and features like the wishlist so you can easily share your favourite images with others.
To create such a website, a lot of work is put into the details that users do not really see, such as optimising code and images.
3D visualisations are used so that customers can get a good idea of how a picture will look in different rooms or environments. Again, great attention to detail has been used to ensure that the visualisations are as close to reality as possible.
Chroma prints with a brushed surface are the most difficult to model as they have the most complex structure with many different reflections and effects that need to be taken into account.

To ensure the best prints, numerous product tests have been carried out to ensure that only the best quality prints and materials are available.
The prints use the latest printing technology and have been extensively tested to ensure that the colours, details and their effect match the artist’s intentions.
All the different print types and surfaces have been tested to ensure that the colours, brightness, contrast and sharpness are reproduced correctly.
